What to Study? (New Book Focus)
Unlike previous years, the 2025-26 session focuses on logical thinking. You must master:
- Unit 1 (Problem Solving): Drawing Flowcharts and writing Algorithms is mandatory.
- Unit 5 (Designing Website): HTML Tags (Head, Body, Hyperlinks) are the most important part of the syllabus.
- Unit 4 (Data Privacy): Ethical issues, Copyright, and Encryption keys.
Computer Science Paper Pattern 2026
Computer Science has a different mark distribution compared to Biology or Chemistry. The total marks are 50 (Theory) + Practical (in 10th Class).

- Question 7: Unit 4 (Data Privacy) OR Unit 5 (HTML Tables/Links).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
No. There is no practical exam in 9th Class. The 50 marks are purely for the written theory paper. The practicals will be combined with 10th Class (total 50 marks practical).
Yes, the Punjab Board paper is bilingual (English & Urdu). However, for Computer Science, it is highly recommended to attempt in English as HTML tags and terminologies are difficult to write in Urdu.
