Mathematics is the backbone of the Science Group. The 9th Class Math Book (PTB) is designed to build the foundation for FSc Pre-Engineering. It covers Algebra, Matrices, Logarithms, and practical Geometry. This page provides the English Medium version used by all Punjab Boards.

Note: If you are an Arts student, please download the "General Math" book, which is different from this one.

⚠️ Expert Tip: The Compulsory Theorem!

In the Board Exam, Question 9 is Compulsory (8 Marks). It is always a Theorem.
Strategy: You must memorize the theorems of Chapter 12 (Line Bisectors) OR Chapter 16 (Area Theorems). Do not ignore these chapters!

💡 How to Score 75/75?

Math is the only subject where 100% marks are common. Follow these rules:

  • Review Exercises: 50% of the MCQs come directly from the "Review Exercise" at the end of chapters.
  • Definitions: The first Question of the Subjective part asks for definitions (e.g., Define Matrix, Define Collinear Points). Memorize the glossary.
